Frequently Asked Questions
Are the job openings listed up to date?
Yes, the job postings on our website are updated regularly. Positions that have been filled are immediately removed from the job portal.
How can I apply for a job at a Netzkontor company?
To apply, find the job posting you’re interested in on the career portal and open it. Each job posting includes a button labeled “Apply Online.” As soon as you click it, our online application form will open automatically, allowing you to submit your application to us.
Which is preferred: a written application or an online application?
Please do not send us a written application. We process applications exclusively through our online application system. This ensures that we receive your documents promptly and in a format that’s ideal for our applicant management system. It allows us to process your application efficiently and quickly. It takes about ten minutes to complete the online application.
What documents are required for the application?
In addition to the information provided in the application form, you have the option to upload the documents listed below. We recommend that you combine all your certificates into a single file in a common format (PDF).
- Cover Letter (optional)
- Resume (tabular format)
- Copies of relevant certificates (e.g., high school diploma, intermediate degree certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, employment references)
- Copies of internship certificates and other evaluations
How can I make sure you've received my application?
Immediately after completing the online application process, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt via email. This confirms that your application has been received. Be sure to check your spam folder as well, if necessary.
Can I also submit a speculative application?
We have a wide range of job openings and would be delighted if you applied for one of our current vacancies. If there isn’t a suitable position for you at the moment, but you’re open to a new challenge and would like to submit a speculative application, please feel free to do so via the following link:
What happens next in the application process after I submit my documents?
Your application materials will be reviewed by our recruiting team and the relevant department. If we’re interested, we’ll invite you to either a phone interview (about 30 minutes), a virtual interview via video call (about 1 hour), or an in-person interview (about 1 hour). If appropriate, this initial meeting may be followed by a second in-person interview or the opportunity for a trial workday.
What happens to my information after I apply?
By submitting your application, you have the opportunity to create a profile in the application system. Using the email address you provided and your password, you can access your profile at any time to complete or update it. The data stored in your profile will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for application purposes. In accordance with the statutory retention period (GDPR), your application will be automatically deleted from the application system six months after the application process has ended.
Can I withdraw my application or delete my user account?
Once you have created a new user account in the first step and clicked the “Continue” button for the first time, your data will be transferred to our applicant tracking system. At this point, you still have the option to withdraw your application. In compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we will otherwise store your personal data for six months, effective from the date your user account was first created. Can I correct an error in my online application, or can I still make changes or add information to my application after I've submitted it?
Yes, using the applicant link from the confirmation email sent by our applicant tracking system, Softgarden, you can access and edit your application at any time. You can also upload documents at a later time. However, attachments that have already been uploaded cannot be deleted. In this case, we recommend that you upload the updated document, even if it results in a duplicate.
